Let's move on after bus driver's mistake

I saw that headline, as prominent as a headline can be, on yet another story about a school bus driver who has now admitted to having been intoxicated while driving the bus.

I don't know this person. She made a terrible mistake. We all know about it. We have been told about it many times. Does the Herald have to utterly crush this person by posting the latest “news” about the incident at the top of the front page? What are you trying to do, kill her? There is a tradition that says if you destroy a person's reputation, it is indeed tantamount to killing them.

This individual made a terrible mistake. She seems genuinely sorry and will be paying heavily for it for the rest of her life. Why does the Herald have to continue such “coverage,” especially at the very top of the front page? It is inconsiderate, mean and simply wrong.
