3 men accused of theft from Harrisburg churches
HARRISBURG, Ill. — Three men are accused of stealing from churches around Harrisburg in southern Illinois just before Christmas.
Saline County prosecutors have charged two 19-year-old men from McLeansboro and Eldorado, along with an 18-year-old Harrisburg man with multiple counts of burglary, stealing and criminal property to damage.
A pastor of one of the churches says someone stole a compact-disc player, a wireless microphone, two computers and a guitar.
Authorities say they've recovered the bulk of items that were reported stolen.
