Armed man robs Naperville woman

A 58-year-old woman was robbed by two men outside a Naperville apartment building early Thursday evening, according to police.

The woman had just exited her vehicle in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 1800 block of Santa Fe Drive when two suspects approached her and demanded money, police said.

The suspect who demanded money had a yellow bandanna over his face and was armed with a “sharp pointed metal object,” according to police.

The two offenders took the woman’s purse and were last seen running west from the parking lot on foot, police said.

Naperville police responded to the 911 call at approximately 5:41 p.m., but were unable to locate the offenders. They did, however, find the victim’s purse.

The armed offender was described as a 15- to 17-year-old Hispanic male, between 5-4” and 5’-6” tall with brown hair. He was last seen wearing the yellow bandanna and a black jacket with yellow on the back and a black hood.

The second offender is described as a 5’7”, 17- to 19-year-old male with shoulder length brown hair and a thin build. He was wearing a dark jacket, dark pants and dark shoes, police said.
