Income tax hike not necessary

An income tax hike is not necessary when Gov. Pat Quinn gave a $25 million grant to build a new charter school.

The money was given to the United Neighborhood Organization, and the group's leader is Juan Rangel, who just happens to co-chair the campaign for Rahm Emanuel.

Something sure smells “fishy,” and this appeared in the Wednesday, Nov. 24, issue of the Daily Herald, “buried” in a back page.
