Voters can request ballot in mail

Voters living within North Chicago wards 2 and 4 and Waukegan wards 2, 3, 6 and 8 may request a ballot by mail for their Feb. 22 consolidated primary election by visiting LakeVoterPower.info, by sending an e-mail to VotingByMail@lakecountyil.gov or by calling (847) 377-2406.

The last day to apply for a ballot by mail is Feb. 17.

Voters who have a primary election may make a one-time request for this primary or enroll in the permanent voting by mail program. Once enrolled in the permanent program, voters automatically receive a ballot for every election specified at the address they provide.
