More shots fired at cars in Indiana

VALPARAISO, Ind. — Police in a second northwestern Indiana county are investigating complaints of vehicles being struck by pellets or BBs fired from an air gun.

The Porter County Sheriff's Department says it received several complaints of air gun-related vandalism southwest of Valparaiso this week. One man reported the rear window of his pickup truck was shot out.

Lake County sheriff's officers are investigating a series of similar incidents in an adjacent area near Crown Point. In one case, shots struck windows of a school bus near Interstate 65, leading school officials to temporarily halt bus service in the area.
