Police find 35 meth labs inside N. Ind. shed

PIERCETON, Ind. — Police in northern Indiana have arrested two brothers on drug charges after finding 35 one-pot methamphetamine labs inside a single shed behind their home.

A Kosciusko County sheriff's deputy on patrol smelled what he suspected was meth being cooked near Pierceton and found the clandestine production site Wednesday night. State police trained in meth site recovery remained on the scene overnight cleaning up the labs.

The Kosciusko County Jail says brothers 48-year-old Richard Pruitt and 43-year-old Christopher Pruitt of Pierceton each were being held Thursday on $2,000 surety bonds. They face a preliminary charge of manufacturing meth.
