Lindenhurst touch-a-truck event set for Aug. 27

The Lindenhurst Park District will host a touch-a-truck event from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 27, at the Lippert Community Center parking lot, 2200 E. Grass Lake Road, Lindenhurst. The free event will feature a variety of trucks and police and emergency vehicles, including a dump truck, garbage truck, tow truck and mini-racecars.
