Furniture donations sought for Elk Grove Village fire victims

Furniture and small appliances are being collected for an Elk Grove Village family that lost all their possessions in a house fire this week.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Arlington Heights is accepting goods for the family that includes five children ages 10 through 17.

Bunk beds would be appreciated as would upholstered furniture, a kitchen table set, a vacuum cleaner and grocery store gift cards.
