3 charged in Aurora drug bust

Three men have been charged after authorities conducted a drug bust at their Aurora residence Friday.

Kane County sheriff’s detectives found 10.9 ounces of cocaine, 1 gram of heroin, approximately $27,000 in cash and a fraudulent Illinois driver’s license after executing a search warrant early Friday at the home on the 700 block of Delius Avenue, officials said.

Joaquin Reyes, 36, was charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, and two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Jose Gutierrez-Aguirre, 26, was charged with one count each of unlawful possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Ruben Gutierrez-Reyes, 35, was charged with one count of obstructing justice, and one count of possession of a fictitious drivers license.

Authorities said the arrests were the result of a two-month investigation.
