Holiday meal donations

Give the gift of a holiday meal to a family in need. Your $30 donation provides a turkey, stuffing, potatoes, yams, vegetables, fruit and dessert — enough for a family of eight to enjoy a traditional holiday meal. On Nov. 13, more than 100 volunteers will work at the Northern Illinois Food Bank’s North Suburban Center, 440 Keller Drive, Park City, to assemble Holiday Meal Boxes for northern Illinois families at risk of hunger. During the next six weeks, Northern Illinois Food Bank volunteers will pack more than 30,000 meal boxes this holiday season. These boxes will later be paired with a turkey to make a complete holiday meal.
