Public hearing on hospital proposal

A public hearing regarding a proposed hospital in Lindenhurst is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday at the Lake Villa Township west campus, 37850 N. Route 59, Lake Villa.

The hearing is being conducted by the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board to allow interested parties to comment on the proposal by Lindenhurst Illinois Hospital Company LLC and Community Health Systems Inc., to build a 132-bed acute care hospital to be known as Vista Medical Center at Grand Avenue and North Deep Lake Road in Lindenhurst.
