Exchange club gives out grants

The Exchange Club Foundation for the Prevention of Child Abuse in Lake County recently awarded $10,000 to local agencies and programs.

Checks from $500 to $3,000 were presented to Catholic Charities, One Hope United, NICASA, CASA and Community Youth Network for programs ranging from parent groups to public education. Supported by the Gurnee, Grayslake, North Chicago, Round Lake and the Waukegan exchange clubs, the foundation has awarded more than $150,000 in Lake County in the last decade.
