Eminent Domain should only be used as a last resort. Property owners should first be approached with a realistic market value for their holdings. Conversely, inflated prices should never be paid using taxpayer money.What will be the biggest issue facing the county over the next decade, and how do you propose dealing with it?Infrastructure maintenance and reconstruction will be a great expense. While Federal funding is diminishing in some areas, every grant opportunity must be investigated and pursued to bring money into Lake County.
