Want to share your photos of Lombard?

LOMBARD, Illinois—Great photographs are showing up everywhere—social media sites, local network weather segments and online newspapers. And now, interested photo buffs can share their photos with the Village of Lombard for use on its website and other promotional materials.

Lombard's Community Relations Committee reviewed the idea of reaching out to the community for interesting photos of Lombard to be used on the Village website and in other Village materials. “It's just another way we are aiming to get the community involved,” said Keith Giagnorio, Chairperson of Lombard's Community Relations Committee.

Lombard residents who are interested in sharing their photos of Lombard may do so by sending the photos on a CD or DVD to the Village. Photographs must be taken and submitted by the photographer and must be in color. DVDs must be clearly marked with the photographer's name, printed, so credit may be given if any of the photos are used. There will be no compensation for the photos.

“The idea is to use some of the great photos that our residents are taking and share them with others,” said Village President William Mueller. “We are hoping that Lombard as seen through the eyes of others will provide some interesting photography to enhance Village publications and the website,” said Mueller.

All photos to be considered for use by the Village should be sent to:
