Suburbia's Got Talent: Round Lake Area Park District Community Theater

Princess Tulip is a normal 16-year-old princess except for two things: She floats and she can never be sad.

It is her curse to be light of heart, mind, and body until she cries her first sorrowful tear. Tulip is cursed at her first birthday party as a punishment for not inviting her evil aunt Viv.

The Nov. 11 and 12 performances of the "Floating Princess" by the Round Lake Area Park District Community Theater at the Park School Campus stage featured lots of fun new characters, plus some old favorites like Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and more, in a zany tour through fairyland.

The storyline was a fresh and funny fairy tale spoof that offered a princess you've never met before.
