Barrington Chapter Lyric Opera of Chicago opens 44th season

The Barrington Chapter Lyric Opera of Chicago will open its 44th season with an “Afternoon of Music,” starring Romanian baritone Paul Radulescu, who will sing opera arias and Broadway show tunes.

He will be accompanied by internationally acclaimed Russian pianist Irina Feoktistova.

The musical afternoon will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, at Lake Barrington Shores, 64 Old Barn Road, Lake Barrington. Entrance is on the west side of Route 59, north of Miller Road. Check in at the guard house for direction to the Barrington Lyric program.

Refreshments after the presentation will include wine and cheese buffet with raspberry ice tea or water. Cost per person is $30.
