Nominations for Buffalo Grove awards sought

The deadline to nominate people in Buffalo Grove for a Heart of Buffalo Grove award has been extended one week to Monday, Sept. 17. The Buffalo Grove Area Chamber of Commerce will present awards in the following categories — Community, Senior and Youth Volunteer, Teach & Inspire, Business Philanthropy, Above and Beyond and a group award Together We Can. The Heart of Buffalo Grove Awards will be presented at a dinner Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Arboretum Club in Buffalo Grove. Nominations can be made on the chamber’s website, buffalogrovechamber.org. Forms can also be downloaded from the website or are available at the Buffalo Grove Village Hall and the chamber office (50½ Raupp Blvd., behind village hall).
