Maxwell Street returns to Hanover Park

It’s like a rummage sale gone wild.

Hanover Park holds its autumn Maxwell Street event from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15 at the Hanover Park Metra station parking lot, Barrington Road and Lake Street.

Hanover Park residents and neighbors will sell their old treasures, handmade crafts, and new merchandise. Bargaining and dickering over prices is encouraged. Free admission.

Vendors who want to sell can still contact the village clerk’s office for information on registration and fees for any last minute available spots. Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

There will be no rain date scheduled for the event, and fees are nonrefundable. Each space is 9 feet wide by 18 feet deep.

For further information, contact Village Clerk Eira Corral at (630) 823-5602 or ecorral@hpil.org.
