A light bulb walks into a bar ...

We all heard the joke about how many people it takes to change a light bulb. The real joke is how long does it take for ComEd to change a streetlight.

Would you say one week, two weeks, maybe three weeks? It has now been over five weeks and it still has not been changed.

I called Arlington Heights Public Works and reported it out on Aug. 23. After calling three different times, I was informed that the pole belongs to ComEd and they were notified of the problem.

I called ComEd but didn't want to wait on the phone for 24 to 36 minutes to talk to someone.

Maybe someone from ComEd will read this and do something but I'm really doubtful about it.
