Naperville residents can text their way to $10K

U.S. Cellular wants to put your texting skills to the test and find the country's fastest texter. The U.S. Cellular $10,000 Speed Text Tournament is coming to Naperville on Saturday, Nov. 6. The fastest texter will win a $10,000 grand prize, and the second through fifth-place finishers will receive $500 gift cards. Participants compete individually or head-to-head using an HTC Touch Pro 2 handset.

The tour will stop in Naperville from 1 to 7 p.m. at U.S. Cellular Store, 612 S. State Route 59.

Throughout the rest of 2010, the traveling tour will make stops at festivals, fairs, concerts and U.S. Cellular retail stores. The event schedule and latest tournament rankings will be updated every Wednesday and Friday at www.uscellular.com/speedtext and the score to beat will be available at every stop.
