Schools must serve healthier food
The quality of food in the public school system concerns me. I believe that better food should be served in schools. It can and should be implemented as soon as possible. There is no cost that can be put on the education of the future of our country. With a better meal students have the potential to do better: it could cut down on sickness and obesity. Even now there is some "healthy food" that is served in school, but no one wants to eat what they have to give. Even then, the "healthy" food is a giant salad loaded with salad dressing, cheese and ham or bacon.
If there were more food that was good for you offered, more students would undeniably choose it over the frozen, sodium-loaded food that is always served. If our education system would look at this matter in this way, there is no doubt that better food can be served.
