Kindergartener for a Day at St. James School Feb. 11
St. James School will host a special Kindergartener for a Day event from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 11.
All students entering kindergarten next year are invited to SJS to be a kindergartener for the morning. Parents should attend this event with their children, where they will receive information about St. James and the kindergarten program. Children will have a chance to spend time in the kindergarten classrooms where they will meet teachers and do a special project. Parents are invited to the cafeteria for an informational presentation, and will then meet up with their children in the classrooms to see them "in action."
St. James offers both half-day and full-day kindergarten options.
E-mail your RSVP to Judy Pappas at jpappas@stjamesschoolah.org or call (224) 345-7145 by Feb. 9.
St. James Catholic School, a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, is dedicated to partnering with parents in modeling Christ. Its mission is to provide a foundation from which students recognize and develop their personal relationship with God, an academic culture of meaningful and continuous learning, sensitive to the gifts of each child, and tools to shape beliefs, attitudes, values, and practices in accord with the Gospel message of social justice. We are called to walk in faith, live in hope, and act in love.
