DePaul women climb to 13th in college hoops poll
While the Connecticut women claimed their 88th straight game to remain ranked No. 1 by The Associated Press for the 50th consecutive week, DePaul's upset over highly ranked Stanford boosted it to No. 13 overall.
The Huskies received all 40 first-place votes in Monday's poll, with Baylor at No. 2, and Duke, Xavier and Tennessee completing the first five. Stanford fell five spots to eighth after losing to DePaul and Tennessee.
DePaul's 91-71 thrashing of Stanford allowed it to climb from No. 22 last week.
