Open house at Hoffman Estates school for autistic children
The Chicago Education Project is hosting an open house for prospective families and community members who want to learn more about its new Hoffman Estates facility. The open house will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27, at the school, 2353 Hassell Road.
The Chicago Education Project is a nonpublic special education facility that provides services to kids with autism and related disorders between the ages of 3 and 14. It is a 501(3)c nonprofit certified by the Illinois State Board of Education that serves about 35 kids, with hopes to expand to almost 50 kids with the move to Hoffman Estates.
