Elginbull; Eddie A Chapeton, 28, of the 600 block of Liberty Street, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and two counts of domestic battery Sunday, a report said. He choked a woman he knows and was carrying .05 grams of cocaine, it said. His bond was set at $25,000 and he is due in court Friday. He could spend between one and four years in prison, if found guilty of the drug possession charge.bull; Mary I. Williams, 23, of the 0-99 block of Clifford Court, was arrested at 11:11 a.m. Saturday for retail theft, reports said. She was trying to take two swimsuits, two pairs of sunglasses, a beach ball and a dress, valued at $49 in total, from Walmart in the 1000 block of Randall Road, police said. Williams is due in court on July 16. bull; Joshua B. Waterman, 28, of the 100 block of South Main Street, Burlington, was arrested at 6:20 p.m. Friday for retail theft, reports said. He was trying to take two DVDs with a total value of $32.96 from the Walmart on Randall Road, police said.
