Wheeling fire begins in attached garage

Wheeling firefighters are continuing to investigate a fire that began in the attached garage of a home on the 0-100 block of Strong Street Friday morning.

No one was home at the time, but an owner returned to find the garage fully engulfed in flames, firefighters said.

Crews were dispatched at 10:02 a.m. Friday.

The extent of the damage, including a monetary estimate, have yet to be determined by the investigation.
