Make-a-Wish Foundation gala hopes to raise $50,000

A Formal Red Carpet Gala is set for Saturday, Aug. 25, in Wadsworth to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation, with the goal of raising $50,000 or enough money to grant 10 wishes.

The event will be at Midlane Golf Club in Wadsworth. The $100 ticket includes Red Carpet entry with pictures, dinner, four-hour open bar, entertainment by Ryan Andreas from America’s Got Talent, guest speakers, DJ and dancing. There will also be a silent auction and raffles.

This event is hosted by Mrs. Lake County International 2013 Jen Dosch and her husband Greg Dosch, along with a committee of volunteers. Greg and Jen have been wish granters for the Make-A-Wish Foundation for the last year and wanted to do a little more for the foundation to ensure each qualified child who is eligible for a wish is able to get one.

The event is sponsored by Midlane Golf Club, The LakeHouse — Lake Villa, Lincolnshire Riverwoods Fire Local 4224, Antioch Police FOP, Raymond Auto Group-Antioch, Floral Acres-Antioch and Digital Image.
