BACOA senior trip to Art Institute Sept. 5

The Barrington Area Council on Aging and the Barrington Park District will sponsor a daylong trip to the “Senior Celebrations” event at the Art Institute of Chicago on Wednesday, Sept. 5.

A variety of programs throughout the day at the Art Institute will include small informal talks in the galleries, live music and demonstrations. Attendees can also stroll through the galleries in the museum’s new Modern Wing.

Transportation is included in the fee of $15 per person; attendees should buy their own lunch. Park district vans will leave the Barrington Park District at 9 a.m. and return around 4:30 p.m. Register at the Barrington Park District. Registration deadline is Friday, Aug. 31.
