District 41 honors librarian

Rachel Reinwald, youth services librarian and school services liaison for Lake Villa District Library, has been named Citizen of the Year by Lake Villa Elementary District 41. Superintendent Lynette Zimmer said principals nominated Reinwald and she was unanimously approved by the school board. Reinwald works closely with classroom teachers to ensure the library's materials supplement the district's curriculum, and she regularly visits classrooms to give book talks and work with students on library-related projects.
