Free arthritis seminar Friday in Buffalo Grove

State Rep. Sid Mathias, in partnership with the Arthritis Foundation, will sponsor a free arthritis and exercise seminar from 10 a.m.-noon Friday, July 27 at the Buffalo Grove Park District Alcott Center, 530 Bernard Drive, Buffalo Grove. Learn about arthritis and its symptoms, and medications and exercises that help with pain management. “I hope we have a large turnout from the area’s seniors for this event,” said Mathias. “We will have a rheumatologist, a physical therapist, and an exercise specialist on hand to provide information and demonstrations.” Information about the Arthritis Foundation’s programs and services will be available.
