Food costs to rise 3% to 4%, USDA says
U.S. food prices will rise 3 percent to 4 percent in 2011, the Department of Agriculture said today in a report on its website. The USDA's forecast hasn't changed since February.
The department also projected food costs to rise 2.5 percent to 3.5 percent in 2012.
