Carpentersville Moose Lodge hosts breakfast benefit Saturday

The Carpentersville Moose Lodge will hold a breakfast benefit for Steve Poland from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 19, at the lodge, 309 Lake Marian Road.

The fundraiser is open to the public.

Attendees can order from a menu which includes breakfast items such as pancakes, French toast, eggs and crepes. Prices range from $5-$10. There also will be a bake sale.

All proceeds from the breakfast and bake sale will go to Poland, a lifelong resident of Carpentersville who is suffering from lung cancer and unable to work due to his illness. Proceeds will help defray his medical expenses. Donations are welcome as well.
