Compromise needed on budget
I am writing to express my opinion on the current budget problem going on in our government. I feel that both parties are taking too much pride in themselves and not stepping down to a level were they are able to compromise. Their job is to keep our economy going and make good choices in diversifying funds to different corporations. I think that too much of the budget goes to Social Security and Medicare. The government should spread the money out more toward education and our national defense. We need to improve our country and economy and being $14 trillion in debt is not accomplishing this goal. The only way to solve this situation is for both parties to compromise and do what is best for our economy, not themselves.
