We need a way to pay for good health care
I have been frustrated with this debate over health reform. I do believe we have good health care providers in this country. We have the technology, and drugs to care for and even cure many illnesses and diseases.
Unfortunately we are lacking access and affordability for millions of people. If nothing is done, the costs will continue to rise, making the system deteriorate even more.
I know my family is struggling to make our premiums, and even though we have health insurance, there have been times we could not go because the money was tight and the deductible for the care needed was too high. Now my son is 19 and as an adult it would cost an additional $400 per month to keep him on our insurance. We can't afford that. He is still living at home and has been unable to get a job, so no health insurance for him. Something needs to be done now.
It does affect the entire U.S. debt as well, so everyone should be concerned.
