Mundelein Night Out on Aug. 7

The Mundelein Police Department will host the town’s 29th annual National Night Out crime- and drug-prevention event on Tuesday, Aug. 7. Activities begin at 6:30 p.m. with a flashlight walk at the corner of Seymour Avenue and Courtland Street. Attractions including an obstacle course, a slide, and face painting are planned. Cotton candy and popcorn will be available, too. The police department received a $500 grant from Target Corporation for the event.
