Retzler, 39, of the 700 block of North Glenn Drive, Palatine, was arrested around 8:10 p.m. Feb. 6 and charged with local ordinances possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at Wilke Road and Northwest Highway. A police dog found marijuana and a drug pipe in the car, reports said. A court date is March 29.bull; Burglars broke a living room window at a home on the 1900 block of North Woodland between 5 and 7:20 p.m. Feb. 5 and stole $200, and two gold wedding bands, diamond ring and earrings.bull; Burglars pried the door to a common tool storage shed and damaged a door knob at a townhouse complex on the 2600 block of Bel Aire Drive between Jan. 21 and Feb. 4, but nothing appeared to be missing. Damage was estimated at $1,000.bull; Thieves stole a black to amber guitar valued at $2,330 from a wall at Guitar Center, 2315 S. Main St. around 4 p.m. Feb. 7 and stole a laptop computer valued at $1,604.bull; Thieves stole $4,600 out of an envelope in a jewelry box at a home on the 100 block of North Glendale Avenue Jan. 30 or 31. Contractors were in the home working on the master bathroom at the time, but the victims did not witness the theft.bull; Vandals broke a window with a golf ball at a home on the 100 block of South Dundee Avenue around 6 p.m. Feb. 2. Damage was estimated at $100.Buffalo Grovebull; Thieves shattered the patio door of an apartment in the 1200 block of Deerfield Parkway between Feb. 1-5 took a flat screen TV, laptop computer and suitcase valued at $2,655. The repair of the door is estimated to cost $400. bull; Vandals placed fireworks inside a mailbox on the 1-100 block of West Fabish Drive about 11 p.m. Feb. 6, blowing the door off, and vandals knocked down a mailbox two hours later on the 900 block of Ridgefield Lane for the second time in two weeks.Wheelingbull; Thieves stole a blue 1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass parked in an apartment lot on the 400 block of Inland Drive with the engine running around 4 p.m. Feb. 4. bull; Burglars forced open the front door at a home on the 800 block of South Fletcher Drive between 8:35 a.m. and 12:50 p.m. Feb. 2 and stole gold rings, necklaces and earrings, and pesos and euros. Value was estimated at $5,175.bull; Burglars broke into a 1999 Volkswagen Golf between 7 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Feb. 1 at Bernice Court and West Green Drive and stole the in-dash radio/CD player. Loss was estimated at $180.bull; Two men stole a 32-inch LCD TV valued at $330 from Aldi Foods, 901 W. Dundee Road, around 4:50 p.m. Feb. 4 and fled in a small green van. They placed the TV in a shopping cart and pushed the cart out the entrance door.bull; Vandals wrote graffiti on the 500 block of McHenry Road Feb. 3.
