Barrington 4th floats win for their creativity
The Barrington 4th of July Parade Committee has named the winners of the Barrington parade float competition.
A distinguished panel of judges tallied their review sheets and unanimously selected the following entries as the best in their respective categories. Congratulations to all of the award winners and to all of the parade participants for helping to make this year’s parade such a success.
The Grand Prize, the entry that best exhibited creativity, appearance and patriotism, went to the Barrington Animal Hospital.
The Village President’s Award, going to the float that best exhibited the theme, “Let Freedom Ring: Courage, Service, Honor,” went to Citizens For Conservation.
The Spirit of Barrington Award, given to the float that best exhibited originality, ingenuity and community pride, went to Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital.
