Persuade Washington to work for us

Thank you for printing William Raspberry’s column July 20. The political leaders at all levels of both parties need to hear the good sense the column expresses, as does every voter.

I suggest each voter who concurs with the column e-mail a copy to their candidates at all levels of government, and let them know we all want to hear how they are going to help get America back on track. We are all sick of a Washington that is not working in our best interest, in fact a Washington that chooses not to work but to just attack the other side.

Then follow that up with your own discourse with friends and family. Stop the attacks one person at a time.
