Household chemical waste collection

The Solid Waste Agency of Lake County will host a household chemical waste collection from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 7 at Deerfield High School, 1959 N. Waukegan Road. The event is open to Illinois residents only. Accepted materials include aerosol products, antifreeze and motor oil, fertilizers, pesticides, furniture stripper and varnishes.
