Medicaid Fraud Case Targets 50 People Nationwide, FBI Says c.2012 Bloomberg News

July 17 (Bloomberg) -- Fifty people, including more than a dozen in New York, are being arrested as part of a national Medicaid fraud case, the Federal Bureau of Investigation said.

The case is part of a crackdown on the illegal reselling of prescription drugs, Peter Donald, an FBI spokesman, said. “Arrests are ongoing,” he said.
