Buffalo Grove group collects musical instruments

The BG Singers, a group of 75 adults led by choral director Linda Rosen, is supporting the Manilow Music Project (founded by Barry Manilow) by collecting gently used instruments and money to purchase instruments for disadvantaged students in two Chicago schools. The group, celebrating its 20th year, each year picks a charitable activity to support. So far this year, the group has collected 20 instruments and raised more than $2,000 to purchase instruments. Donations can be dropped off with Susan Levy at village hall, 50 Raupp Blvd.
