Bicycle Club of Lake County hosts 31st Ramble
More than 600 bicyclists will Ramble along 30-, 50-, 70- or 100-mile routes in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois, on scenic rural roads past farms, lakes and small towns, in the Bicycle Club of Lake County Illinois’ 31st Ramble Bicycle Event. Loops are arranged in a four-leaf-clover shape and allow many options. Start and end at the Kenosha County Fairgrounds, 30820 111th St, Wilmot, Wis., located three miles north of the Illinois/Wisconsin border and easily reached from I-94.
Your Ramble fee includes marked roads with support, maps, rest stops, food and live music, plus post-ride showers and cookout. Live music is provided by Jazzman Jeff Justman. Sports massage is available for a small fee. For more info, go to www.bikebclc.com.
Early registration is $17 on www.active.com, through Friday, June 8. Registration is $25 from 6-10 a.m. day of the event. Routes are open from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
