Buffalo Grove spa surrenders business license

Buffalo Grove Village President Jeffrey Braiman announced this week that the business license for Sun Spa has been revoked in the wake of two prostitution arrests at the establishment.

An agreement was reached between the village and Sun Spa, 1359 Dundee Road, in lieu of a hearing, Braiman said. Under the agreement, the license holder will surrender the license, but receive a 90-day stay to resolve unfinished business with the establishment’s landlord.

The hearing was called to investigate allegations Sun Spa violated village code after two arrests for prostitution on the premises occurred July 13, 2011 and May 3, 2012.
