Thanks for watching out for Glen Ellyn

On behalf of my family, the parishioners of St. James the Apostle Church, and my Raintree neighbors, I would like to offer a gigantic “thank you” to Staci Hulseberg, director of planning and development for the village of Glen Ellyn, for her well organized, concise and accurate presentation, at the recent county zoning board meeting.

She carefully pointed out the flawed plans that the College of DuPage had asked the zoning board to approve. Staci represented not only the residents of Raintree, but all village residents in protecting our rights against this outrageous proposal presented by COD.

We hope the county board will reject the planned expansion, and urge all county residents to file their objections to the reckless spending instituted by the president of the college. We need local government employees, like Staci, to protect the interest of all our taxpaying citizens.
