You're in for a sweet time at Long Grove's Apple Fest
A tribute to apple season will fill the streets of downtown Long Grove when the 31st annual Apple Fest takes place Friday, Sept. 23, through Sunday, Sept. 25.
The 2022 edition features countless apple delicacies, everything from apple wine to apple tempura. In addition, as always, there will be live music stages in multiple areas, family activities and a classic carnival.
Treats
The heart of Apple Fest will be the dozens of apple vendors doling out locally-made, apple-inspired food and beverages.
In the past, Apple Fest has featured creative options and mouthwatering items like chocolate caramel apples, candy covered apples, apple sangria, hard apple ciders, fresh apple cider doughnuts, spiced apple lattes, Granny apple popcorn, green apple cotton candy, apple crisps, apple goat cheese dumplings, apple cheesecake, apple pie, cinnamon apple ice cream, apple sugar cookie and more.
This year visitors can expect more of the same, as well as other autumn favorites.
Entertainment
In addition to three days of apple-themed treats, fest-goers can also participate in activities. Apple Fest includes family fun in the Kids Zone, as well as a dedicated classic carnival with all-ages rides and games.
The biggest entertainment draw at Apple Fest is typically the live music playing continuously on multiple stages spread throughout town.
