Flags to fly at half-staff for Wisconsin Marine

MADISON, Wis. -- Flags at National Guard armories, air bases and other state facilities across Wisconsin will fly at half-staff Monday in honor of a fallen Marine.

Cpl. Justin Cain, of Manitowoc, was killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan on Oct. 13. The 22-year-old will be laid to rest Monday.

His funeral is private. Hundreds of people turned out Saturday for a public visitation at Lincoln High School in Manitowoc, where Cain graduated in 2007.

Gov. Jim Doyle has ordered that U.S. and Wisconsin flags be flown at half-staff at all state government buildings, grounds and military installations from sunrise through sundown Monday.
