Hotel firm moves to Rosemont

ROSEMONT - Hospitality management company Portfolio Hotels & Resorts announced the recent move of its headquarters to Rosemont.

The new four story building housing the company at 9501 Technology Blvd. was designed and constructed to meet LEED Gold certification criteria, in keeping with Portfolio's green philosophy.

The new Rosemont office space was redevelopment of land previously housing a former warehouse location and was constructed without the use of asphalt, which typically creates heat islands, contributing to a rise in the temperature of the surrounding microclimate.
