Plenty of options for low-income women

A shocking new video reveals that Planned Parenthood is advising young women they can terminate their pregnancy if they are unhappy with the gender of the child. Sex selection is nothing more than social engineering. Tragically, sex-selection abortions are not just happening in China — they are happening right here in America.

A little research uncovers that Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion provider in America and currently receives $1 million a day in taxpayer dollars for their services. Some might argue that if PP were providing some unique health care services to low-income women that was not available elsewhere, they could try to justify the fact that PP is the largest recipient of Title X funding in the country.

One recent example in Indiana, however, does not justify PP getting hundreds of thousands of dollars to serve low-income women. According to the organization’s own statistics, the Indiana clinics serve less than 1 percent of the state’s Medicaid patients while providing more than 50 percent of the state’s abortions. Obviously, the overwhelming majority of Indiana low-income women are getting their basic health care needs met elsewhere.

There are thousands of health care clinics across this country other than Planned Parenthood that receive federal funding and offer as good or better health care services to low income women, and they don’t perform abortions. With America drowning in debt both at a national and state level, it would seem that a logical place to save $1 million a day in taxpayer dollars would be to simply inform Planned Parenthood they have been feasting at the public trough long enough and that they are not the only game in town.
