New York architect to speak at Judson
Richard Cook, principal architect for Cook+Fox Architects, will give the next lecture for Judson University's School of Art, Design and Architecture Lecture and Exhibition Series at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19 in Herrick Chapel on Judson's Elgin campus, 1151 N. State St.
Cook's lecture is free and open to the public to attend.
Cook+Fox Architects is a young firm in New York City and is committed to transformative vision: beautiful design shaped by a strong connection to place, serious standards of sustainability, and a commitment to excellence in process and collaboration.
The lecture will take place on the same day that Judson's School of Art, Design and Architecture will host a Preview Day for prospective students to explore the diverse majors and opportunities offered within the school. Prospective architecture, art and visual design students will have the opportunity to tour the campus as well as attend the lecture.
